Which string gauge should you choose?

The string gauge greatly influences how your badminton racket feels. A thin string offers more feel and power, while a thicker string lasts longer and is more durable. At Li-Ning, we offer several different string gauges so you can find the one that best suits your game.

Li-Ning N61 – 0.61 mm

N61 is an ultra-thin badminton string, only 0.61 mm. It provides maximum feel, precision, and a sharp sound upon impact. Since the string is very thin, it breaks more often than thicker strings, so we recommend reducing the tension by approximately 1 kg.

Li-Ning N65 – 0.65 mm

N65 is a 0.65 mm badminton string that offers a great balance between power, control, and durability. The string grips the shuttlecock well and provides a pleasant sound upon impact. N65 is the same string as Li-Ning No. 1, just in a different color.

Li-Ning No. 1 – 0.65 mm
